Plagarism and a update.

As some of you may or may not know, I read Fanfiction.
The main thing I read, is Harry Potter fanfiction.(I've read fanfiction stories which are better then the books themselves!)

Now today, I got a update from one of my favorite stories and I wish to help spread the message.
________
Plagerism

Right, I know that I’m not actually writing anymore, and to be fair, I still aren’t, however, this comes from one of my favourite authors and is definitely doing something right when he sent this out. Please read the following and do what it says, because we all know that Plagerism is without a doubt wrong, and should not in any circumstance be tolerated.

We are preparing an action against IdiotBoy and !

IdiotBoy - the nick name he got from somebody over the last week - created an account at and published several fics from all kind of authors and claimed them as his.

That is not a problem, because he is member of a well established site like , who has the policy not to allow those practices. So what happens? You would expect that the fics he stole from others will be removed?

No. Everyone fills in an report of plagiarism, but still it has no effect, he can continue stealing the work from others.

At the end and after several weeks, the stories get removed.

But what happens next? He creates another account at and repeats this whole nasty business. Instantly, people from all over the Fan Fiction world started to fill in reports of abuse and the result is the same. They (the management of ) ignored all requests and mr. IdiotBoy can continue to violate the policies from without any problem.

When the pressure went up, removed the fics Mr. IdiotBoy stole. And what happened? Exactly, he started anew. He created another account and the first thing he did was stealing the same fic he started with. Now he is waiting ...

Again many people filled in abuse reports with and again they don't act.
Su Tipple (author and beta-reader of RotaryFile) and I suggested taking action. She wrote an Open Letter about this whole mess and I agreed to publish it to a separate website.

The purpose of that website is: To collect enough attention across the world of Fan Fiction and beyond and to pressure to implement their policies

To ask the visitors of the site to add an entry in the guest book to express their opinion about the whole issue. Reason? We plan to publish this information at all media outlets in the Internet (like CNN).

To give IdiotBoy exactly what he wants, except a bit more then he hoped for (overkill, make the boy the most hated person in the world of fan fiction and beyond and a warning of those other jokers out there)
You can help. You can reach the web site here:

http:// ffnisplagiarism . info

You don't need to register, simply add your comments into the guest book

There is also a poll

How are we spreading the message around and get people to pay attention to the problems with IdiotBoy and ? We want to ask you to spread the message

We ask you to participate to take a look to the site and to add one or more entries in the guest book and participate with the poll

We will publish this message to all (Harry Potter) fan fiction Google- and yahoo- user groups we can find with the same requests

We will publish this web site to all major search- and indexing websites in the Internet (SEO) (that's the reason for the advertisement, it attracts additional visitors and helps to pay for the domain and web site)

We will contact all the (Harry Potter) Archiving web sites (like this one) with the request to place an announcement on their sites (link exchange; we place a link to their web site)) and we request the owners/admins, to send an announcement to their members about the situation and a link to the

http:// ffnisplagiarism . info

(you will find such announcement soon in your mail from the HPFanficArchive and WC4 sites)

We contact all (Harry Potter) forums, blogs and other publication web sites with the request to place an announcement on their sites (link exchange; we place a link to their web site)) and we request the owners/admins, to send an announcement to their members about the situation and a link to the

)

We will publish the existence of

http:// ffnisplagiarism. info

to all Social Web sites we can find

We publish press releases about the existence of and the reasons why
We contact media outlets (whatever we can find) like CNN and any other (Internet) news paper

Right, you’ve all got the message, so go do something about it!

________

Because while I may dislike cars, loudly tweeting birds in the morning or any such things, I hate Plagarism. Please, spread the word.(Because I know that around the three of you following my blog, atleast two of you have many more readers then I do)
____

Now back to me, I've been sick since monday. Well actually it started on monday.
I kept working, even though I was slowed, etc. And basically took a hour longer then usual. After which I walked home because I had a flat tire. My mom was going to pick me up, but crashed the car.(Don't worry, it's all insured and it's not really bad)
So symptons: Very easily fatigued, tired, migraines, stomach pains and random pains over most of my body if I exercise.

Speaking about exercise, I decided to pick up some more exercise, to stay healthy and cycle around everyday.

Now there is one thing which went good, scarily smooth even. Today I went to pick up my new Pasport/ID thingy, I went to the desk to pick up a number.
Before I even got close, she said:
''Here to pick up a new ID?''
I said yes and while I was still walking to her, she printed out a ticket thingy which I took.

I then walked up, during which my name got called up by the system.
That nevers happens, I checked it to be sure and voila, it was true.
Everything went smooth and I was done within a minute or two.

DD signing out.

Religion

Well it's been pretty quiet in my life on my front.

The future? Where we looking at, mate?

College, that's what I'm looking at. I'm going to do a Art@Design course, which will probably last 4 years and hopefully I'l get a shiny paper saying I have a associates degree in Webdesign orso.

No, no no, look further!
Probably a job, probably meet awesome playgrounders(I am so going to meet you, there is no escaping me! Bwahahahaha), hopefully meet somebody special(Or find meet somebody in real life and find out that the chemistry is there then too).
Get married? Wha?
Not the typical youngster ''Wha?'' either, the one which says ''Woah, I'm like, years and years away from that!''
I'm just not big on marriage itself. I, myself, wouldn't really need some government or religious position telling me that I love that woman(I'm heterosexual, nothing against LGBT* people), that I want to spend the rest of my life with that woman or till we both have changed so much that it won't work out anymore.
Though if she wants to, I'l agree, though when we're both ready.

Wait, what religion is DD?
Cookiemanjaric.
Cookiemanjaric? What's that?

It's not one.
But you just said...

Well, it's complicated. On my time here on the nets, I've been roleplaying the cookiemonster a lot, for years now.
With that came development, most of it in my head, some of it typed out.
Cookiemonster worships a god called Cookiemanjaro, the god of cookies, milk, mind and to a lesser degree, chaos and food overal.
Well my characters gods never saw your character's god on any planes!
That's right, Cookiemanjaro resides in the center of the multiverse, dimensions and planes. He's surrounded by asteroid belts of giant cookie crumbles and milk which protect the center where he resides in a giant cookie. (Legend says that Death, your Friend the Reaper has visited)

Well this part is clearly fictional, but with the roleplaying, character development(I RP (cookiemonster) on other fora >.>) came a sense of feelings, guidelines and such, which I began to believe in in real life.

I had been raised within Christianity, but I had stopped going to church at age 9 orso, I can't exactly remember. So like many teenagers, that left me not being religious.
Well, I was on several fora with my brother. I don't remember how, but somehow he started Team Atheist(Having been raised with Christianity and growing out of it at 'young age' too.) I was tempted to join, several people did assume me to be a member, since on those fora, it was a specfic group of dutch people, of which there weren't that much dutch people there.
So Atheism? Nope, not the way to go for me. I do believe in science, evolution and that stuff...But...That left pretty empty.

(On a other topic, which I will talk about sometime later) evolution has been stopped by ourselves. )

I had been looking into other religions, but many of them looked scarily alike. Especially ones who were mass-practiced like Muslism(I'm pretty sure that's not the actual name of the religion, could somebody clear that up for me, please?), pretty much all kinds of christianity, Judaeism and such.

It was later, when I was developing my views of life and such, I discovered various things such as Ecclectic Wiccans, normal wiccans and those kinds of things.
But I myself, don't believe in magic and such. No problem with it if you do, a friend of mine is wiccan and he's a good buddy.

Not really my thing, though I do have to agree with the statement of Obscurevisions at 6:07

What? Oh noes! You have figured me out, I'm starting to link to other people so that maybe more people will come and read this utter crap.(Especially since I still haven't figured out how to switch my spell check from dutch to german here.)

So....That's my ''religion'' part fictual, part very real. Practiced soley by yours truly. I'm cookiemanjaric.

*For those not in the know of that acronym, it stands for Lesbians Gays Bisexuals and Transgender(When your gender in your brains is different then the one your body is)

I hope to see you all next update, where I'l probably will be talking about Darwinism, how humans stopped it and other things.

DD out.

Shiny Paper

I got one.

On social life, my LARP group didn't get enough volunteers for Castlefest(medieval (fantasy) event with touches of gothic and such), so they cancelled.

Which means I'l have to be paying my own entrance ticket.(Standholders get free entrance, well, we usually do. No idea about shops.)

I've had a slowly growing depression weeks long, with a spike yesterday, caused by a bad talk with a old classmate. Luckily Bor and Rabbit talked to me(posted on a forum) and that helped a lot.

Press 1 if you want to know more about DD's shiny paper.

Woah

Well...I've been feeling bad, and crappy about this blog. So thats my crappy excuse for not updating this blog sooner.

Quick debrief:
Spell check: Is in dutch, so almost anything I type is underlined with a red dotty line.
Job: Got the job, working 3 hours a day on monday and wednesday for July and August now. Low pay but good atmosphere.
School : Graduated, got on 5. Err, silly foreigners who don't use the dutch education system.(Its Okay if you call it crazy, it is.) Basically your grades are just graded between 1 and 10. 1 being lowest and 10 being highest. 5.5 is a passing grade. I got a 8, 7, 5 and the rest were 6's. I graduated, but being a perfectionist, I re-did the 5 and got a 6 for it. So just got graduation coming up next week tuesday.
Social life: Practically none, next social event is on end July. I suppose you could call my colleagues(I know I spelled that wrong.) a social occasion, since I interact with them, but due to having met most of them only once or twice and my job being very focused on doing things quickly.(Stacking shelves...yeah..) It does allow a bit of talk now and then but...As I said, I've only got 2 workdays behind me.)

Thenk you all for listening, err reading, and I hope to see you next time.
As always, comments are always welcome.
